Purpose of the Davis Islands Garden Club
We exist as a nonprofit organization to promote the beautification of Davis Islands; to encourage the growing of flowers, plants and shrubbery in private and public places; to cooperate in protecting birds and wildlife; to aid in protecting and conserving natural resources; to further members’ education and the public’s education in gardening, horticulture and nature studies; and to uphold and promote the objects of the Florida Federation of Gardens Clubs and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. (Paraphrased from the club’s bylaws)
